The source
Fares come from the public endpoints Ryanair, Wizz Air, Volotea and Vueling use to power their own websites. There is no intermediary: no global distribution system, no affiliate network, no paid API. It is the same number the airline shows on its own page.
This matters because the two largest European low-cost carriers are absent from Google Flights, and their relationship with online travel agencies has been contentious enough that several stopped listing them. The most used flight tools in the world are partly blind here.
What the numbers are
- Monthly minimums, not live fares. For each route and month we keep the cheapest fare observed at collection time. It is a starting point for deciding when to go, not a bookable quote.
- One adult, per direction. Return trips are not summed.
- Converted to your currency from the collection-day European Central Bank reference rates. Each airline sells in the currency of its own market: without conversion a map like this would be comparing unrelated numbers.
Why the bag price is a range
Neither airline publishes a checked-bag price per route. Wizz Air exposes official bands by weight and season; Ryanair publishes a table with a floor and a ceiling. So the honest answer is a range, and that is what we show.
The figure on the map is the lowest end of that range, added to the fare. It is a floor you can verify — never a guess dressed up as a precise number. The card always states the upper end too.
Cabin-only prices carry no such uncertainty: both airlines include one small under-seat bag, so that figure is the fare itself.
What we do not do
- We do not sell tickets and we do not take payment.
- We add no markup and charge no service fee.
- Every booking link goes to the airline's own website, never to a reseller.
- We do not rank destinations by what anyone pays us, because nobody pays us.

La fonte
Le tariffe arrivano dagli endpoint pubblici che Ryanair, Wizz Air, Volotea e Vueling usano per il proprio sito. Non c'è un intermediario: nessun sistema di distribuzione globale, nessun circuito di affiliazione, nessuna API a pagamento. È lo stesso numero che la compagnia mostra sulle proprie pagine.
Ha un peso, perché le due maggiori compagnie low cost europee non sono su Google Flights, e il loro rapporto con le agenzie online è stato abbastanza conflittuale da spingerne diverse a smettere di elencarle. Gli strumenti di ricerca voli più usati al mondo, qui, sono in parte ciechi.
Che cosa sono questi numeri
- Minimi mensili, non tariffe in tempo reale. Per ogni rotta e ogni mese conserviamo la tariffa più bassa vista al momento della raccolta. Serve a decidere quando partire, non è un preventivo prenotabile.
- Un adulto, per singola tratta. L'andata e ritorno non viene sommato.
- Convertiti nella tua valuta con i cambi di riferimento della Banca Centrale Europea del giorno di raccolta. Ogni compagnia vende nella valuta del proprio mercato: senza conversione una mappa come questa confronterebbe numeri che non hanno relazione fra loro.
Perché il prezzo del bagaglio è una forbice
Nessuna delle due compagnie pubblica il prezzo della stiva per singola rotta. Wizz Air espone fasce ufficiali per peso e stagione; Ryanair pubblica una tabella con un minimo e un massimo. La risposta onesta è quindi un intervallo, ed è quello che mostriamo.
La cifra sulla mappa è l'estremo più basso di quella forbice, sommato alla tariffa. È un pavimento verificabile, mai una stima travestita da numero preciso. La scheda dichiara sempre anche l'estremo alto.
Il prezzo con solo bagaglio a mano non ha questa incertezza: entrambe le compagnie includono un bagaglio piccolo sotto il sedile, quindi quella cifra è la tariffa.
Quello che non facciamo
- Non vendiamo biglietti e non incassiamo pagamenti.
- Non applichiamo alcun ricarico né commissioni di servizio.
- Ogni link di prenotazione porta al sito della compagnia, mai a un rivenditore.
- Non ordiniamo le destinazioni in base a chi ci paga, perché non ci paga nessuno.
