How they price it
The Vueling base fare covers only the bag under the seat, the same rule as Ryanair: bring a cabin trolley and you pay, which many people find out at the gate. The prices below are read from their fare bundles, measured across 33 flights.

Vueling's fee table is public, and anyone can copy it — which is what everyone does. What is missing is the column next to it: what actually comes out at checkout. That one we get by opening bookings, 24 times, across different routes and dates.
